ELECTION OF THE WORLD SINDHI CONGRESS EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE AND OFFICE BEARERS FOR 2010-2012
Dr. Hidayat Bhutto Elected as New Chairman of WSC. As per its constitution, World Sindhi Congress conducted the elections of its Executive Committee for 2010-12. Mr. Gul Sanai of UK, a senior member of WSC, was the Election Commissioner.

LONDON, October 11th, 2010, As per its constitution, World Sindhi Congress conducted the elections of its Executive Committee for 2010-12. Mr. Gul Sanai of UK, a senior member of WSC, was the Election Commissioner. The new Executive Committee comprises of 15 members: Sanjay Ahuja, Haleem Bhatti, Rizwan Bhatti, Hidayat Bhutto, Kadir Jatoi, A Rehman Kakepoto, Umed Laghari, Lakhu Luhana, Sultan Mahar, Siraj Makhdoom, Ali Memon, Malik Dino Shaikh, Rubina Shaikh, Saghir Shaikh, and Sattar Zangejo.
The New EC elected the office bearers as follows: Chairman: Dr. Hidayat Bhutto, Senior Vice Chairperson: Umed Laghari, Vice Chairman: Rubina Shaikh, Secretary General: Dr. Lakhu Luhana, Deputy Secretary General: Sultan Mahar, Finance Secretary: Sanjay Ahuja, Information Secretary: Ali Memon, Culture secretary: Rizwan Bhatti.
The New EC also elected the Chapter Organizers as follows:
UK and Europe: Haleem Bhatti, USA: Farhan Kaghzi, Canada: Siraj Makhdoom and Sindh: Sattar Zangejo.
In addition, EC has formed following Organizing Committees:
UK and Europe: Gul Sanai, Jabir Shar, Dr. Mahboob Dahani, Hafeezan Wadhio, Mumtaz Bhugio, and Sadiq Bhambhro , Abdul Rauf Lagari
USA: Mansoor Samo, Jamil Shaikh and Qasim Jatoi
Sindh: Gul Muneer Vistro, Imran Almani, and Makhdoom Shams-ul -Arfain.
Canada: Asif Panhwar and Aijaz Shaikh
The new Office bearers took oath at the WSC Annual Conference held on October 9th, 2010 held in London.
The World Sindhi Congress is a human rights advocacy organization based in the UK and USA. It aims to create a better understanding among the international community about the persecuted status of Sindhis in Pakistan and about the Sindhi people's struggles for human rights, including the right to self-determination. In addition, WSC strives to create an association of Sindhis around the world. WSC is a registered company in England and Wales, UK and in USA, organized to carry out non-profit activities only.
